How do you keep our financial data secure and confidential? +

Data security is foundational to how we operate. We use controlled, role-based access, secure cloud platforms, encrypted file transfer, and strict confidentiality agreements across everyone who touches your account. Access is limited to the people directly working on your business, and we're happy to walk through our specific controls during onboarding and align with any compliance requirements you have.

How is this different from hiring an in-house finance team? +

Absolutely — and most clients do. Many start with bookkeeping or a specific cleanup project, then add managed accounting, advisory, or fractional CFO support as they grow and as trust builds. Do you handle our taxes too? +

Yes. Our tax planning and filing is led by a licensed CPA, covering individual (1040), S-corporation (1120-S), and C-corporation (1120) returns, plus quarterly estimates and year-round, proactive tax strategy. Because we also keep your books, your tax work is faster, cleaner, and more accurate — no scrambling at year-end. If you'd rather keep your existing tax preparer, that's fine too; we hand them clean, ready-to-file books. The one thing we don't do is audit or other attestation work, by design.
